The eco weeder was out in action this week! This hydraulically powered machine takes the place of the hoe and manual labor. Two operators sit on the eco weeder machine and move the rotating heads around the plants, eradicating weeds. This piece of equipment greatly improves efficiency and is less physically demanding on one’s body. It was great to see it in action and the quality of work it achieves! | Wilfert Farms

We would like to commend Riesterer and Schnell and John Deere on supplying parts on demand. 🙌🏼 Last week we started covering strawberries with straw for the winter. Time is always of the essence because the berries have to be dormant, it can’t be overly windy, and has to be done ideally just before it snows.
