So I built this crazy custom boat from a salvaged waverunner and it was really unstable. Removing the waverunner engine and adding a deck above the gunwales raised the vessels center of gravity and made it very rolly. So I had to find a clever (and cheap) way of stabilizing the hull that also did not involve adding hundreds of pounds of ballast.
