Deputy John Allen is a Field Training Officer (FTO) with the Bay County Sheriff's Office. One of his goals is to take green recruits (see what we did there) and help mold them into seasoned deputies equipped to serve the people of Bay County. We are fortunate to have Deputy John Allen in Field Services at the BCSO. We recently sent a group of field training officers (FTO's) to Advanced Officer Tactics. The class combines combat simulation training through scenario repetitions. It involves motivation, teamwork, communication, and IR Firearm systems with pain receptor body gear that simulates injury during a shooting (ouch!).
