Our winter birds have started to gather again on the farm. This flock of Linnets are hard to spot but they flitter up as we walk through the fields. We often find the linnets head to the moorland fringe for the summer and return to the farm in the winter. Linnets are a farmland bird indicator species, they have declined 72% since 1967 and are a red listed species.
