So I decided to give them a second life and build a new compost bay system. Some tips for finding the right pallets. 1. Look for HT which means heat treated. They are typically kiln dried for longevity rather than being pressure treated with chemicals that you probably don’t want in your garden. Stay away from blue colored pallets. 2.
