PDIT or ‘Pellet Durability Index Test’ is a simulated process that tests how well a pelleted feed stays ‘intact’ during the handling process. We do this test a few times a year on 3-6 randomly pulled products we manufacture. All feeds only lost somewhere between 1-4% in ‘fines’ which is excellent to very good.
