Spider-Man: Brand New Day broke the record for the biggest-ever opening at the U.S. box office. The film’s $360M debut bested that of Avengers: Endgame. It’s quite an accomplishment for a franchise that’s been around for a quarter century through nine films and three separate male leads.

Andrew Garfield doubled down on what it would take to return to the "Spider-Man" franchise, pitching an idea that could lure him back for another film. During a recent interview with The Playlist, Garfield,

“I heard Tom say at some point that he wanted to continue, and we would love it if he did,” Tom Rothman said.
