Production at Shell's Pearl gas-to-liquids facility in Qatar has ​stopped after an attack on the Ras ‌Laffan Industrial City damaged the facility, the British oil major said on Thursday.

LONDON, March ​19 (Reuters) - ⁠ Shell said Wednesday's ​attack on Qatar's Ras ​Laffan ‌Industrial City ⁠caused damage to the ⁠Pearl GTL (gas-to-liquids) ​facility, adding the fire was quickly put ​out, ‌there were no reported injuries and Pearl is ​now in a "safe ‌state".
