President Donald Trump and other top Republicans are set to read portions of the Bible as part of an event described as an opportunity “to call our nation back to its spiritual foundations.”

The 79-year-old participated in an “America Reads The Bible” event on Tuesday, a week-long scripture reading arranged to coincide with America’s 250th anniversary.
