Perplexity has introduced “Computer,” a new tool that allows users to assign tasks and see them carried out by a system that coordinates multiple agents running various models.

Perplexity Computer orchestrates 19 different AI models—from Claude to Gemini—to execute complex, multi-stage workflows such as coding to deploying software.

Despite the name, Computer is not hardware. It is an orchestration layer designed to coordinate models behind the scenes.
