Derrick Williams stepped down as basketball coach at Cardinal Ritter after four seasons. Steven Lopez, an assistant past two years, will take over.

Cardinal Ritter (21-9) will take on Blue Springs South (23-7) in the semifinals at 2 p.m. Friday at Mizzou Arena.
