Auburn basketball took another beating against premier competition Saturday, losing at No. 3 Arizona in blowout fashion.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats got another double-digit victory on the board Monday night against Tarleton State, 76-58. UC poured in 15 threes in the game, driven by Kerr Kriisa (20 points, three assists) and Day Day Thomas (19 points, five rebounds, six assists).

Jaxon Hemgesberg led the Chesaning scorers with 13 points and six steals, with Law Danek adding 12 points. Kayden Mahoney followed with 10 rebounds and eight points, with Justin Lange contributing seven points, seven rebounds and six steals.

Frankenmuth dominated John Glenn, taking a 39-8 halftime lead on its way to the Tri-Valley Conference Red win. Caden Sommerfield scored 14 points, with Cash Tedford, Lleyton Hoard and Matthew Schoenow adding 10 points each for 2-0 Frankenmuth. Dylan Wood scored 10 points for the Bobcats.

UNC beat Kentucky 67-64 in the ACC/SEC Challenge. UNC gets a defensive stop. Caleb Wilson is fouled with 2.6 seconds left. He'll shoot two free throws. Derek Dixon made a layup with 16 seconds left to give UNC a 66-64 lead. Kentucky calls a timeout with 12.4 seconds left.
